Frequently asked questions

Can I import records from the web version?

Export a backup from the web version and select its JSON file through Restore backup in the app. This replaces current records. Web and app records do not sync automatically.

What does the red badge mean?

It counts tanks that have reached their configured water change date. Record a change to clear a tank from the list. It is not a notification delivery or read count.

Why did my reminder not arrive?

Enable and save reminders in the tank details, and check device notification permission. Battery-saving settings may delay delivery. The app schedules the next reminder and updates it when you record a change or reopen the app.

Before changing phones or uninstalling

Export a backup and keep it somewhere accessible from another device. Records are stored locally; the developer cannot restore them.

Do I need an account?

No. The free Android app displays a banner below the tank list. Development builds use test ads. There is no account or cloud sync. Purchases are not available yet.

How do I change the language?

Open Help & data and choose Japanese or English. Applying a language reloads the app and reschedules enabled reminders. Saved tank names and notes stay unchanged. Save any unfinished input first.
